（Musashino）Udon

MUSASHIHO(Generic term for the area spaning Tokyo and Saitama) is wheat production area from old days. Therefore, old days families were making their own original homemade noodles.

Soba

EDO(nowadays Tokyo Area) had a habit of eating SOBA compared to western Japan(Osaka and Kyushu). Because of that influence, you can often eat here in the Musashino area.

Vegetables

There are unmanned sales places/vegetable vending machines beside many farmland. If you buy and bring the vegetables to Arigato Tour that you want to try, the staff will cook for you.

Nobidome Canal

In 1653, under the guidance of the Kawagoe han warrriors, the canal was made for the people. Thus this district had no water, this canal was so preciouss. Feel the history and contemporary society by your walking/cycling course.

Heirinji

the temple was designated as a natural monument in the country (Built in 1663). There is grave of Matsudaira Nobutsuna who made Nobidome Canalm and is been respected. Heisei Emperor also visited this historical place for twice. This is where you can feel the respect from people and history.

Mt. Fuji

Mt. Fuji and agriculture
Mt. Fuji erupted about 17times in this past 3000 years. The ashes cover the Musashino area, and top of that, leaf molf is overlapped. In this way, minerals of Mt. Fuji and the blessings of nature that have been created over the years made rich land. If the weather is fine, you can see Mt. Fuji from various places.

Edo period (1603-1868)
About 20km from central Edo, this place used to be a producer of root vegetables such as carrots and persimmons and farmers at that time carried vegetables daily to Edo.
